Mythology Farms

A unique Breeding facility conveniently located between Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky. We specialize in Warmbloods for competition in the Olympic Disciplines of Showjumping, Dressage, and Eventing.  Family owned and operated since it's birth in 2004 Mythology Farms has grown and prospered.  By joining the specialized genetics, nutrition, and animal behavior experience of owner Stephanie Kennedy and Grand Prix winning Showjumper Jonathan Kennedy, we offer a uniquely well rounded program producing elite horses ready for the spotlight in their given area of expertise.
With extensive knowledge of bloodlines, conformation, nutrition, and genetics in their arsenal, countless hours are spent antagonizing over each breeding decision.  By producing only a select number of premium foals each year, more time can be spent with each foal giving them the opportunity to not only be well handled from birth, but to spend the majority of their time out in large, lush pastures with their herd learning to be a horse, providing proper mental, physical, and spiritual development.
Mythology's Baccus, our three year old colt, did a fantastic job at his first in hand show at the Kentucky Horse Park.  With no score below a 73 he placed top three in every class, winning his Zweibrucker Classes, with wonderful Judges comments including:

Our 2008 colt Icarus by Voltaire out of Ultra Nyx (Goldmaker xx/Cabaret) did an excellent job at his first in hand DSHB Show at the Kentucky Horse Park with great judges comments and a high score of 79.  Fantastic placings for a Hunter/Jumper colt at a Dressage show! He won his Belgian Warmblood class and his Yearling Colt/Gelding class as well.  We could not be more proud!  The German and Dutch judges liked him despite his unique color saying:
"Good length in neck and poll..."

"Good model type and expression..."
"Correct walk..."
" Shows good engine behind..."
"Good Sporthorse type, excellent jumper type..."
